Dan and Adrienne Kozma

Who would have thought that a simple childhood hobby - rock collecting - could turn into a brilliant and creative life's work?

Dan Kozma started out collecting stones that caught his eyes as a child. As he matured, so did his skills; his hobby took him to gem and mineral shows, and attending the shows gave his an eye for jewelry. Soon he was making and selling his own jewelry, and D.A. Kozma Jewelers was born.

The family-owned and operated jewelry store, which Kozma co-owns with his wife, Adrienne, has served local and resort customers since 1978, buying, selling, and making jewelry. Recently, the business expanded to include the buying of coins, a hobby of Dan's for over 40 years, silver and gold jewelry to meet more of its customers' needs.

"Throughout our day, we are helping customers value their jewelry and coin collections," the Kozmas say. "We also help customers design new jewelry, which they often like to create from their old unwanted jewelry."

Dan's natural instinct for gemwork, combined with his years of experience, result in imaginative and beautiful creations that keep fans coming back for more. Meeting and exceeding customers' expectations, as well as satisfying their changing desires, keeps the couple motivated; Dan's work, and passion, keeps the Ocean City store sparkling.
